What is leave colour
'Leave colour' is when you focus on one colour in your picture of video and then saturate the background out into black and white. The reason for this is to focus on one main colour or object in your picture or video. It is used more in pictures to show the impotance of something or to give a good effect to the picture.

How to create a leave colour scene
To do this you have the select the 'leave colour' tool in effects. You then use the colour picker tool to select the colour that you want to focus on. I used a bright colour folder so that it stood and and it made it easier to saturate the background. I then used the tools 'tolerance' and 'edge softness' and played around with them until my video was perfect only showing the purple folder in colour.
